Our Background

Veto Socks was conceived in 2022

Our founder Ian Martin – an amateur cyclist with a strong product design background – has used many brands of cycling socks over the years. He found there was no single product available that provides complete comfort and enables high-level performance.

Ian decided to produce a comfortable, multi-discipline, ride-all-day, all-round cycling sock to exceed all premium socks in the market.

The Veto project started

Ian designed, developed and tested hundreds of prototypes in the search for the right combination of yarns & knits, styles and production factories around the globe to deliver the optimum product.

Eventually in December 2022, everything came together and the Veto Cycling 1.0 Sock was produced. The 1.0 version provides riders of all cycling disciplines and abilities with measurably increased levels of performance.

Today

Our socks are available in all the best local bike shops in UAE and Saudi Arabia and on this website.

In July 2024, we will be available from UK local bike shops.

Additionally we will open our second fulfilment centre which will enable delivery to our customers around the world.
